Terms of Service

By accessing or using RareDex (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

RareDex is a Pokemon TCG price intelligence tool that aggregates publicly available market data — including raw card prices, graded card sale prices, and grading company population reports — into a unified interface.

RareDex is not financial advice. All price data, grade premium calculations, and market information are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. Investment and grading decisions are made at your own risk.

Account authentication is managed by Clerk. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or access restrictions.

RareDex offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Price changes do not apply to the current billing period.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the Service without an API subscription
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense RareDex data without written permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Use the Service to harass, spam, or engage in illegal activity
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or authentication mechanisms

Pokemon card names, set names, card artwork, and related imagery are trademarks and copyrights of Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., and The Pokémon Company. Card images displayed on RareDex are sourced from public APIs and are used for identification purposes.

The RareDex name, logo, design, and aggregated data analysis are the property of RareDex. Price data, population data, and other factual information sourced from public records are not claimed as proprietary.

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on RareDex infringes your copyright, please contact our designated DMCA agent at dmca@raredex.cards with:

• Identification of the copyrighted work
• Identification of the infringing material and its location on our site
• Your contact information
• A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

RareDex is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., The Pokémon Company, PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator), BGS (Beckett Grading Services), CGC (Certified Guaranty Company), eBay, or TCGPlayer.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RareDex and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state where RareDex is incorporated. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
